Establishment of the Australian Prime Storage Fund (APSF) with National Storage (NSR) to develop and own state of the art self storage centres located in the major capital cities centres on the east coast of Australia. APSF was a joint venture between Universal Self Storage Prime Storage Fund (USSPSF) (75.1% ownership) and NSR (24.9% ownership).

Sale of USS1 and USS2’s 80% shareholding in the Armadillo Self Storage Portfolio TO Big Yellow Group. USS1 investors realised a return of 31% per annum over a seven year period. USS2 investors realised a return of 20% over a six year period.

Universal Self Storage Funds Management (USSFM) is a funds management business focused solely on the self storage investment market. We were established in 2014 to leverage off the substantial industry expertise of our founders to source and develop investment opportunities in global self storage markets. USSFM’s founding principals, Jonathan Perrins and Robert Gregg, have over 45 years experience in all facets of the acquisition, development, ownership and operation of self storage centres in Australia and in international markets.

USSFM have managed over $300 million in self storage centre investments and is continuing to source and develop opportunities in the self storage industry to suit local markets. USSFM and our associates seek to invest alongside our investors in each of its funds and are actively involved in the management of these investments through leadership of the respective governance bodies.
