Jonathan has over 24 years experience in the self storage industry and is the founder, owner and chairman of Steel Storage Group – a business Jonathan has grown for over 20 years in the areas of self storage design, manufacturing and construction in Australia, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

Jonathan is a past Chairman of the Self Storage Association of Australasia and the past Chairman of the Self Storage Association of Asia. Jonathan was a founding shareholder and director of Extra Space Asia and has invested in a number of self storage centres in Australia and the UK. Jonathan founded USS Funds Management in January 2014 to capitalise on his experience to create further investment opportunities in the self storage industry.

Robert has over 25 years experience in investment banking and private equity in Australia, Asia and South Africa. During this period, Robert held senior corporate finance positions with major international investment banks.

Robert has over 10 years experience in the self storage industry and was the founding Chairman of Extra Space Asia, a trans-Asian self storage business. Robert founded USS Funds Management in January 2014 to capitalise on his experience to create further investment opportunities in the self storage industry.

James joined Universal Self Storage Funds Management team as a Senior Analyst in October 2018.  He was previously with Ernst and Young for over 5 years where he specialised in project finance advisory on large scale infrastructure projects.

James is responsible for portfolio management, investor relations and the assessment of investment opportunities in the self storage industry.
