On 16 April 2020, our partner in the Armadillo joint venture, Big Yellow Group (BYG), released its results for the quarter ended 31 March 2020.
Key highlights include:
- Like-for-like revenue for the quarter of £32.5 million, up 3.8% from £31.3 million for the prior corresponding quarter (pcq)
- Like-for-like closing occupancy was 81.3%, down 1.1 percetnage points from 82.4% for the pcq
- Closing occupancy was impacted by the introduction of government lockdown measures in mid march as a result of COVID-19
