SSA UK has released its 2017 Annual Survey of the UK self storage industry, covering UK self storage operators, customers and general public perceptions of the industry. As at December 2016 the Armadillo business is now:
• the seventh largest branded self storage operator in the UK (by lettable area); and
• a member of the largest managed self storage group in the UK (by lettable area), being the Big Yellow managed portfolio.
The Big Yellow brand remains by far the most recognised self storage brand in the UK. We believe this is a significant benefit for the Armadillo centres that operate from the Big Yellow branded marketing and operations platform. The full report can be found on the SSA UK website:
